We will be providing Emergency Relief Kits free of charge to those in need within our congregation and our community. An emergency relief kit contains toilet paper, soap, and non-perishable food items. We are living in unprecedented times and now, more than ever, we need to lean on each other for care, support, and encouragement. We want you to know that Christ Church is here to help.
To request an Emergency Relief Kit, fill out our registration form below. Following registration, our team will email you a confirmation and additional details on when and where to pick up your Emergency Relief Kit. With God’s help, we’ll get through this together!

April 5, 2020

Here’s some terrific Spirit-filled music to get your Sunday worship started!
Compliments of the worship team from Christ Church, Kristi, Zach, and Haley!
Praise God! Praise His name! Praise His holy name!
Take a few minutes either before or after our online service this Sunday at 10:30 at the Christ Church Pueblo West Facebook page,
to worship with Kristi and her kids!
Christ Church Pueblo West is hosting a photo contest for young people in Pueblo & Pueblo West based upon Philippians 4:8. The contest is designed to help our young people to see that God is good and that there are still lots of good things all around them. Children are encouraged to look around them and photograph things that are mentioned in the scripture.
Things that are …
And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
Children who are pre-k to high school seniors are encouraged to enter by posting their photos to the Christ Church Photo Contest Facebook page. Winners will be selected and announced April 25th. Prizes are being provided by the Pueblo Chick fil A restaurant.

Above is our most recent Sunday morning message entitled “Be Strong and Courageous!” Watch it! Share it with a friend! Next week, April 5th, join us at 10:30 am for another message on Facebook Live on the Christ Church / Pueblo West Facebook page.
During the early part of the Corona virus outbreak Christ Church volunteers created and delivered more than 150 “Kid Kits” to families in Pueblo West. The kits were simple ziplock bags filled with coloring books, toys, crayons, books, balls, jump ropes etc… No two kits were the same. Pueblo West families were asked via a post on the “I Live in Pueblo West” Facebook page to give the ages and genders of their children along with their address so that volunteers could deliver them to their homes in Pueblo West.
Volunteers left the kits on front doorsteps, porches or even sidewalks of homes and then they would ring the doorbell or knock and walk away. It was important that we keep a distance and yet love our neighbors. It was a huge success and more than likely “Kid Kits” will return at some point to be available to families who are dealing with difficult situations. Christ Church, it is great to see how you are stepping up during this difficult time. May God continue to bless our community through the body of Christ!
Services cancelled
In response to the recent COVID-19 outbreak and at the request of federal, and state government leaders we are announcing the cancellation of all gatherings at Christ Church/Pueblo West for the next two weeks.
This includes Sunday morning services March 22 and March 29 as well as Tuesday morning prayer, Wednesday evening potluck/bible study and Thursday evening IMPACT youth group.
Please tune in to the Christ Church Facebook page at 10:30 Sunday morning to view our remote service and message. May God bless each of you and keep you safe and close to Him as we weather this storm.

It is with heavy hearts that we must announce the postponement of the Inaugural Get Well Soon 5k until the spring of 2021. We at Christ Church in partnership with Living Water International remain committed to the cause of providing access to clean water, hygiene education and the Gospel of Jesus Christ to communities in Haiti.

But due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19 and a lower than expected response to early registration, we thought it best to regroup, and point toward next spring for the event. We will be refunding entry and t-shirt fees immediately to everyone who has signed up.

While the Get Well Soon 5k may be on hold, our efforts to do, and support, this very important work is not. Christ Church has already funded a well which is slated to be drilled in the northern part of Haiti sometime this year. The current political climate has slowed things a bit, but the well will happen sooner or later.

So, if you would like to contribute to this effort you are welcome to make donations via PayPal that will go directly to providing access to clean water and the Living Water of Jesus. Here is the link.

Thank you to everyone who has stepped up to run, donate, and/or volunteer at the Get Well Soon 5k! May God bless you and your families, keeping you safe and strong, as we weather this storm together! If you have any questions, you may call teaching minister, Bryan Kelsen at 719 406-1331.

We desire to help all people fall in love with God through Jesus by lovingly serving others, intentionally building community and actively worshiping God.
Matthew 28:19-20
Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

Our goal is to reach out to our community in an effort to love our neighbors in a way that points to the love of Jesus Christ.
Mark 12:30-3130 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.”

We strive to encourage followers of Jesus to use the blessings that God has given them to in-turn bless our community.
James 1:2222 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

At Christ Church we work to meet our community right where they are and come along side them combining the love of Jesus with service.
1 Peter 4:10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

Christ Church Leadership

The leadership team at Christ Church strives, first and foremost to be in the center of God’s will. In this way it is our desire as a church body to lead those who do not know Christ into a relationship with Him as both Lord and Savior. We also work to lead those in relationship with Jesus to a closer and more mature fellowship with our Savior that they too may disciple others.
